It was an honour to have been invited by the Sports team at BBC to attend and interview on the BBC SPOTY Red Carpet as the only rugby media present! To provide an insight to viewers of stars across rugby and football was really special: showcasing their personalities, hobbies, fashion, aspirations and reflections on their journeys. Leading with enthusiasm, a bit of banter and care was at the heart of my approach - to be listened to is the greatest feeling. As an athlete, being able to talk about something that doesn’t relate to a season or what you’ve done on the pitch can be refreshing, so I wanted to delve into what their personal opinions are.
